Important information about our Programs.
If you would like to register at Columbia County Cares Food Pantry to receive regular monthly support, here’s what you need to do:
- Be a resident of Columbia County GA. We will need to see 2 proofs of residence (driver’s license, bills mailed to this address with your name on them.) No PO Boxes.
- If you are on food stamps or if you have children below the age of 18, you need to go to DFACS – Department of Family and Children Services (located at 6853 Columbia Rd across from the Sheriff’s Office and Detention Center) and get a referral slip.
- Only one person at a given address may register with us
- By law, we cannot register people in nursing homes or agencies that provide residents with food.
Official office hours are Wednesday – Thursday 9:30am – 2:00pm.
Thanksgiving Dinners
Annually, Columbia County Cares provides Thanksgiving Dinners to our registered clients. All clients who have visited the pantry 3 times by October 2020 will be eligible to receive a dinner.
